WHAT DO YOU DO FOR INCOME?

When we hit the road, Phil worked full-time as a remote Navy contractor, and Stacy was faculty for a nursing school.

Currently, our primary income source is Phil's military retirement. We also have income streams from Today is Someday, including YouTube and affiliate links.

WHAT DID PHIL DO IN THE NAVY?

Phil started his career as an undesignated seaman. Which means he was an E-1 without a specific job. He worked his way to BM2/E-5 (Boatswains Mate), MACS/E-8 (Master at Arms), and retired as a Mustang LCDR/O-4 Security Officer (military police).

All of the details, including how we met, can be found in the video below.

WAS STACY IN THE NAVY?

Yes, Stacy served as a Data Processor for five years in the Navy. She chose to leave the Navy to pursue a nursing career.

WHERE ARE YOUR KIDS?

Briana is married to Rusty, who was on active duty in the Navy for ten years. They currently live in Texas with our grandson, Walker. Our son, Andrew, also served in the Navy for five years before being medically retired. Yes, we are one big Nayv family!!

DO YOU MISS FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Of course, we miss family and friends. But after 27 years of Navy life, we have learned to overcome the distance between our friends and family. Even though we are far apart, we never really feel away from them.

As a bonus, we have visited our family more now than in our 9-5 life.

HOW DOES STACY KEEP UP HER NURSE PRACTITIONER LICENSE?

Stacy completed her NP recertification in September 2020 and will not need to recertify again until 2025. Before 2025, she is required to complete 1000 hours of direct patient care as an NP and 100 continuing education units.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH STACY'S NECK?

Stacy has several benign nodules on her thyroid, which her physician follows. It is only cosmetic.

WHERE ARE YOU?

For safety reasons, we don't give out our exact location.
